PALAZZO POGGI


City 370 km north of Rome where I visited Palazzo Poggi, with a fantastic gallery of paintings on the ceiling, with different scenes from the Greek-Roman mythological stories, made by the artist Pellegrino Tibaldi. Above, highlights Odysseus/Ulysses blinding Polyphemus, and below the mighty Poseidon/Neptune.
